Wait, it's been that way for me for a while now. But at least I'm getting into some fish. Tuesday around high tide at first light I got one 26"er on a XRap and at low tide I got a 23"er off the back side of a bar on one of my self-tied surf candy teasers. I could buy a hit on anything that resembled a sand eel.

Re: FISHING REPORTS
out from 4-10 this morning moco...blah
even the birds looked confused , though for a few minutes it looked like they got into something a little north of me--beach access was tight so just took in the nice day and a season well spent!

Re: FISHING REPORTS
Got on the water @ IBSP around 5:30 am and just @ 1st light 7am we got into Fish had them around for about 30 mins or so then they disappeared They were very picky very picky. I threw everything I had in my bag they would only hit a white A17 or 27 every 20 casts or so. mostly small fish 4-6 Lbs. nothing spectacular. It was a fun morning catching the little guys then the rain started picking up and we packed it in.

Re: FISHING REPORTS
Monday morning,,1st light,,4th cast got a shorty,,though 24" is a nice fish,, small surf,, clean water,, west wind barely moving,, sand eels were plentiful,, as were gulls eating them,, fish swirling,, some pods of sand eels right almost on the beach getting attacked by marauding shorties,, sometimes you have to just stop fishing and watch the spectacle.. I caught more shorts.

Late report
I know it's late but fished Moco Friday with a buddy from 11 to 4 killing some time waiting for another buddy to go steelhead fishing. Picked up a half dozen micro bass and shorts from 16 to 24. On a better note steelheading was pretty good averaged 8 or 9 a day with a mix of chrome silvers and some darker fish.

Re: FISHING REPORTS
I went out fishing today and didn't catch any fish.. sure did look fishy. There was a South wind,, so I looked over my shoulder and made sure Fishincrazy wasn't there, he wasn't. The water was pretty green, low tide with nice holes to work along with trying the big puddle. Gannetts were plentiful close to shore along with Loons working the surf.

Re: FISHING REPORTS
The fish decided to show up in force this morning,, all shorts..teasers/T-hex/ava greentail seemed to be the ticket for me,,tried other offerings,,needlefish/bombers no strikes,, fish were in real close, as in lifting the metal outa the water may cause a strike.
Gannetts were working/diving a few hundred yds out,, gulls were workin the beach surf line. Wind wasn't a factor, overcast which was perfect, waves were small rollers, very few guys out, clammers were getting'em also, didn't see any keepers though I wasn't really paying attention to others.I saw 2 boats..I played first light ,top of incoming.
The "FAT LADY" has decided to sit for a few more hrs?days?weeks? Lets just hope she stays in the buffet line.
Bring your lighter gear,, then for sure you'll get into a bigger fish.

Re: FISHING REPORTS
Fished moco last night from 11-4am. Covered lots of beach. Water looked very fishy but just one bump between the two of us. Sounds like it is a day time show theses days.
