here it is

my photography skills suck. i put a lot of work into this (it's that who's who thing ya know)and it was the first thing i ever built i was totally happy with- no paint splatters, no runs or bare spots in the finish.(oh and it swims like it's supposed to) my first time painting the eyes and of course i had to make the hangers and stuff. i was happy-at least i wouldn't embarrass myself.
or there it was...
needed to hit the local b+t to pick up a ring for the line tie so i figured i'd take it for a swim down to the thames river. it was great the thing swam like a rat with a propeller on it's ass. i was test swimming some other stuff too and of course i dropped the flap on a rock changing over. it was a real small ding just over the eye. i prolly could have left it but it's that who's who thing you know. so i took it back to the shop for some light sanding and another coat of epoxy.- couldn't find the screwdriver i was using earlier so i grabbed up one of my modified ones-it's only got half a blade but it's a small screw no problem right? bad to worse-yup right off the side it went-gouged right thru to the paint-probably just my imagination but i swear it made a sound like the one the needle on a turntable makes when it scratches a record (for you younger guys you can substitute fingernails on a chalkboard).
anyhow- i have a few more weeks so when i calm down i'll repaint and refinish.

Here's mine !!!!! Did 3 of them, the others all had issues, felt this was the best of the bunch !!!

Frank…I had the same problem with that profile bait…some would be ok at best, but most didn’t do much…I got rid of the rear hook and put on two belly hooks and it worked much better…made three gave one away and I think the other two have escaped b/c I can not find them.

Hi Jason - did not try swimming this one yet, the other two swim ok, on top. I thought they would swim sub surface, why they don't ??????????? Going to try this one out to see what it does.

OK guys we are nearing the finish line here. Lets get a move on. It looks like some guys are done and some are still working and some I've not heard a word from.
