Re: epoxy
As many as you want really. I'll stick with one, depending on what finish I'm using. Like the handful of times I use Devcon I will use a single coat. With lighter finish, like E-tex, I will use two. Be advised however, that more epoxy=more weight, and that can throw off the action on some plugs sometimes.

bb i hate to say this but i think u will have big problems if u use etex...the mix must be perfect everytime. and with out a spinner it will pool and run all over or u will have to keep turning it by hand and it makes a mess...Beachboy wrote:ya i think i will do two with e-tex

No, as soon as im sure it's mixed ( about 4-5 min ). I brush it on with an acid brush and put her on the spinner.

Not true at all. I hang mine in my box, which runs about 90-100 degrees, and I only flip mine, and I've never had a serious problem. Granted the epoxy does run due to heat, but I don't think I could honestly say I've ever had any serious issues doing it this way. Just make sure the plug is clean and has a coat of spray on clear coat and all will be good.
