I'll be the first to post fished the bathing beach had one lil rat 16 inches and a sundial and saw 3 others that were about 22 inches
Guess I missed the bite forgot to mention couldn't even get on the bar there were 6 to 8 footers breaking on the back side of it

fish factor something is better then the skunk... Yea I heard it was pretty rough out there this weekend.. Atleast you hooked up with something. Better then i can say sitting on my couch

Yeah Jeff fished IBSP early am saturdat morning ...met up with some SBO'ers conditions where good but big water and even bigger sweeps ...nothing for me amd only saw a few fish hit the sand mostly shorts ...Had plenty of guys take the plunge in the big water 5 to 8 footer rollers ...if you head out be carefull ....

Fished Saturday and Sunday, one short Sat night, saw a bunch of short over the course of the day, two keeper size Sunday Morning at daybreak. Saturday was cold and the rollers were large!!! The sweep was hard too as oldsalts said....thought I was gonna have to play lifeguard at one point.
Rollers were still out ther Sunday morning but not as bad, and the sweep was gone. Lots of small bass around but ya gotta work for them.

I fished FRI IN RI with Wogg we got schoolies on poppers & I got one just under keeper size on an A40
if theres still fish in RI in DEC dont pack it in down SOUTH YET GOOD LUCK GUYS for the late FALL RUN

Thanks for the updates...Don't quite trust some of the reports from other places. I would rather get em from here. Gonna try to get out again...not quite sure when though.

Fished Harveys Ceders on LBI sunday from 4:30am till 11:00am. 1 keeper @ 30 inches in the dark on a loaded SS black needle. That was it!!! Saw some fish caught by other anglers and they were mostly on the small size (rats). LOTS of bait in the water, sandeels, and they were noticably smaller than last weekend. Also as a side note, I drove on in Harveys Ceders and I don't have a permit for that town-- around 10:00 an unmarked white Dodge Durango pulled up and out steps a Harveys Ceders policeman. Very nice and polite says good morning and that he is checking beach permits and would like to see mine. I told him straight up that I didn't have one. He says ok and askes me for DL and Reg and if I have any permits for anywhere else. I showed him my LBT and Ship Bottom permits and then he tells me "I'm not going to write you up, but you are going to have to move"---I couldn't believe he was actually giving me a break!! Didn't really deserve it, knew I was in the wrong, but thanked him and moved on. So be warned if you drive the beach in LBI,they are checking permits!!
