11/2 short report

Picked up a dozen from girls place and headed out and on hook by 11:30. First fish about 27" and fat took some drag and thought maybe the big boys have arrived. Went downhill from there. Drop and catch stripers, no junk fish every bait netted a striper that didn't need to be netted. Over 30 shorts thought for sure I was gonna get one if I just kept working. Plan was to keep at till every chunk was used which I did. Changed noggins every 20-40mins not even a bump on the noggin all day. Didn't happen for me today. Next time out I'm trying plan b and going to the shorts if I get bored. Back at the dock around 6:00.

Don't get me wrong. I love seeing the striped ones and most of them put up a good fight. I've definitely had worse fishing days and I'd much rather be doing this than not doing it. I was just looking at my pictures from the spring and hope I find them again before hibernating for the winter.

A Day full of shorts is better than the skunk. You headed out this weekend?
