Fishing reports should be general locations nothing specific "no spot burning"

Stopped to look at the beach today it was very calm and I can't wait to be castin on it again soon!!!!!!

April 1st beaches open to 4x4 on the island here.bass season open april 15th.

Fished the Delaware river with bloodworms. Missed 3 hits, caught 4 catfish, two were 12pound plus

Heard of a small handfull of guys enjoying a light night bite @ IBSP, no other "details" available. Might give it a go tonight if the lightning dosn't show up.

Ocean side Sandy Hook. Nothing but a wind burn,

made the first trip to the front this year (minus some january trips). dunked clams in northern ocean county from 6pm to darkness. one hit from a skate and that was all. saw a fish break water past the outer bar. tough to tell what it was but it was silver in the low sunlight.

Hey it's Val at Oceanside, Im not sure if this is where I let ya'll know that....IT IS OFF THE HOOK HERE!!!!! The past two days have been crazy. The bit this morning was nuts. Im outta clam, but driving to get some now. (plenty of Salt) But I'll have live by noon today. Get up on the surf!

fished strathmere this morning with fingers and fingers' grandfather john. 1 short @ 25"(john caught it not me or brandon) and a gazillion big sand sharks and a few skates. Incoming water was clean but the sun came up and the water turned dirty and seaweed showed up and a current started pushing through. Bait was clams. Brandon had a good runoff that took alot of line but spit the hook.

took my daughter to the beach so she could do a little seashell hunting.
had my gear with me so i was tossing some lures as she looked for sea gold lol.

beach and water looked great seen some birds working far out.

not much action from fish as i could see but all in all its a beautiful day and had a nice hour with my daughter .....

Word from a friend at IBSP is that the blues are tearing through bunker schools. Smitty you want to go there sometime this week and plug? I may be able to get outta work friday night.

Yea lookin like friday may work.... Not sure yet Ill keep ya posted.

Funny how it can change overnight.
I was there all day yesterday and only had 1- short. A real bad rip tide 8oz plus to hold dead sticking. Saw no bunker or feeding fish, very few diving feeding birds to.
Scuba let me know if you & Smitty head down, I'd like to meet up if I'm not working. Plus I have a few 9ft rods you might want to try plugging with if you are looking for a new plugging rod.

did lbi sat night. started mid island work'd my way up to the inlet. nada nothing!!! :evil:

from 3 til 12 using clams and did my first plug'n! same shit!!! i dont know how you guys do it , my arms are a hurt'n! but had fun! i think im look'n to get a plug'n rod!!

TRY 2 -4 HOURS A DAY PLUGGING. YOUR ARM GETS STRONGER.

Jeff when are you coming down again? Need another night with smitty and you and me, I got a place we can practice with pluggin. Hell, even got the 8 footer if you want to try that one out and see if it will work for you.

Quiet at the hook today. Throwing plugs. A buddy had a few shorts early on clams! No blues?
