surf at night time

Hey guys, just want to take a poll here: who surf fishes at night and what time do you go? I go when the kiddies go to bed. This usually entails me getting to LBI at @ 9pm. I fish until @ 12am I use bait and haven't had the most luck with the targeted fish. Just wondering if any else does the same thing and if they have any luck. Thanks guys

I fish the surf at night usually around CM & CMP I ususally get there around 4 or 5 pm go to the jettys at CMP and use artificals till dark or a little later and then go to the beaches in north end of CM to do some bait fishing and on the way home try some bridges in the back with artificals , do this at least once a week now and as the weather cools will try to do it more :)

I fish RI & CAPE COD @ night mostly artificial small black jointed bomber fished SLOW works real good up here

Man all times!!Used to hit the inlett at Manasquan from 2-8 am For a good tide.Alot of times from like 7-8 pm to midnight 1 am.I like the night the freaks come out!!!! :affraid:

I do most all of my serious surf fishing at night. Save the day for diving or running around n netting bait. try to get on the beach around sunset, Theres been weekends where Ive stayed on the beach for almost 24 hours straight. I do like night the best though.

I don’t hit the beach at night like I use to but when I did I would go to work a specific part of the tide according to the location I was fishing.

My favorite time to fish is when it is still dark in the morning and into false dawn as it becomes just a little brighter before the sun begins its rise. That 15-20 minutes when you can just start seeing your pencil popper slapping the surface is the best 15-30 minutes of the day (IMO).

night time is the right time
leave day time fishing for fluke and tog. If you want bass from the beach odds are you're gonna have your best action at night. fishing FRESH bait and arti's. Black needles are a great fall producer for me....and don't forget a teaser
