got out on the dk with Capt. Eric Kerber on monday.  

broke the shark river inlet at 0700 with flat calm seas.........Ran north, found bunker pods every where, and thick! Did some snag and drop, but there was nothing under the pods......So we start to snag and fill the live well.......

Ran out to a few spots, and started to live lline the bunks we caught, with no major action..........I had a few run offs, but the bass were just mouthing the bait and not fully eating it.

hit another spot, and Eric set us up with a nice drift, and we continued to live line, and Millsy and him starts to jig up some flounder and sea bass........

Then the rain came, and diddent stop.......Around 1300hrs, the wind shifted and picked up and the seas started to build......We kept at it......Till it got to shitty and decided to head in......4-5 with the occasional 5.5-6' rollers....

End the day with 2 bass to 20lbs(released one), 1 19" fluke, and 2 sea bass.

Despite the weather, it was a great day out on the water.

Thanks for the report - I guess they got the boat off the end of the N side jetty?  

Friday night there was a boat aground on the "pocket" missed the inlet and hit the jetty  - OUCH!

Yea, he was telling us about it, but it was not there.....
