Ocean City Fishing Tournament...2013

The OCFC Trustees and the City of Ocean City have given approval for a 3 day Surf Fishing Tournament Oct 17 - Oct 19 in 2013. ASAC has endorsed
the Tournament and it will be governed by ASAC Rules. Entry fee is $450.00 and $400.00 for any ASAC Club that hosts a Tournament in 2013.
OCFC is hoping to draw 100 Teams from the East Coast and Registration will begin in October 2012. We will put out as much information as we can prior to the beginning of Registration. Prizes are based on having 100 teams. First place is $5K, second $2.5K, third $2K, Fourth $1.5K, and Fifth $1K. There will be a Womens Division with First place being $1.5K, second $1K, third $750.00, fourth $500.00, and Fifth $250.00. Yes, it is possible for a Womens Team to win both prizes. In addition, there will be four Fishing Sessions and each session will have a $1K prize to the highest score of each session. the 17th will be a registration day, tackle show, and some events to be planned. Please realize that this is very early in the process and it will develop as we move on.

This will be a ASAC RUN TOURNAMENT. THIS IS NOT A KILL TOURN!!!!!! Judges will be on the beach so any fisherman who wants to release his or her fish may do so. I will try and answer any and all questions.
