Re: tips, tricks, pointers and gear
-ALWAYS air down. Don't cheat on this one.
-Have the right equipment to deal with an emergency.
-Maintain your vehicle so you are less likely to have a mechanical failure. Sand driving puts extra stress on the truck.
-Be smart and courteous about how you drive and where you park.

Nope go down to at least 15 to start...
Re: tips, tricks, pointers and gear
Nope, if you get it right to begin with, you won't need to go down farther.rider3 wrote:i understand the whole airing down thing................dont want to go to far down at first................want to leave my self some lea-way incase i got to go down farther right?
You'll have to figure out what works best for your vehicle/tires, but somewhere between 15 and 20 is usually good.
The beach is in great shape right now. Real wide, mostly flat and not too torn up. Good time to get a feel for the whole thing. In about a month it's gonna be other story.

Re: tips, tricks, pointers and gear
15 lbs is the way to go.
Don't jam your brakes.....Always come to a slow stop so you don't push yourself into a rut, making it harder for you to get out. And never spin your tires. That only makes things worse.
See you out there bud!
