Fished with Capt. Derek on the Fisher Price 3 open boat trip

Spent the morning live lining Bunker - go into bass right away with 6 fish coming in - I landed a nice 25-30 lber that gave me a tussle.




After that the fish would crash, roll on or push the baits but not eat - was really fun to watch two or three big bass "playing" with a big bunker that was swimming for its' life.


We had nice bass swimming right up to the boat and just pushing the bunker - never inhaling.

If I had hook up on every bass that smashed at but did not eat my bait I would have had an easy 40 fish! Was a great day and while it was frustrating it was much better then fishing and not knowing if the fish were there - kept the heart pumping
