Well...This should sum up Me and Stevel's trip to the park today.

We did see a few fish caught and I droped one in the wash, but today all the fish were being caught by the boaters who were just out of casting range!

Good effort guys.
I'm not surprised the bite was slow today with how they were feeding yesterday. Their bellys were all ready to EXPLODE. One of the fish I kept yesterday was 29in, but 10.6lbs! He had....get this....75 undigested sandeels in his belly when I filleted him They can only feed like that for just so long before they gotta take a break.

and yes, I counted them.....

That stinks the skunk is never fun but rather get the skunk than be at work

well jeff we gave it are best shot...that was my last trip of the season...the body took
a beating and doesnt function well with the colder weather ... ....to all the guys I
have fished this past season thanks for all the great times we shared fish or no fish great
times for sure...looking forward to next season ...got some new rods and reels on order
already...cant wait...Oh ya time to get the striper tattoo also...
