Took a ride to the park today to meet up w/ som fellow SBOers. Get to the park and can't get the truck to go into 4wheel drive mad

Handy man was nice enough to drive out and pick up me and Stevel. Finally get out to the sand and meet up with CG, Jeff L and his lovely wife. We all started picking med size blues on bait. The others had been getting them on metals earlier till the wind kicked up. I had a nice knock down which I thought was a monster Blue till it started peeling line off my reel. Once on the beach, it turned out to be the catch of a lifetime...A cobia...28#,48". Never seen one caught off the beach this far north. Stevel landed a nice 10# blue, CG hooked up on a nice bass 35" and released it! Jeff and his girl had a bunch as did Handyman! Great crew of SBOers to spend the day with!!!!

Awesome time once again with some great people from SBO ...was Great to meet Handy man in person finally and of course he is
a great guy as is all the SBO crew....Jeff awesome Cobia that you caught today and it was nice we all got into fish ...thanks once again

yea!!!!! hell of a day........jeffl was high hook and was slaughtering the blues early morn.....great day!!!!! say ya know how charlie caught that bass.......after he cut a chunk of bunker and put it on the hook.......did ya notice he kissed the two chuncks and kept saying come to papa....baby........come to papa...............within 5 min............bass on!!!!!.... Very Happy

In the morning JeffL, Steph (Jeff's better half), Bruce (Handyman) and I ran the beach and every hole and cut we stopped to fish had blues
in it and we would land a half dozen or so on metal then move on. it seemed to shut off just before midday till it picked up on the high and out going tide.

We need to do this again soon as it was a great day fishing with that crew.
And congrats to Sneaky Pete Bajek on his catch. Jeff always seems to pull a big fish or rare fish out of the ocean. It shocked us all to see that fish come up onto the sand.
