Weather and great friends was what today was all about...!!!!

Smitty, Charlie G , Kingfishking , Surfchick and myself fished the park today with Marrianne and Sadie keeping an eye out for FISH.....LOL

I stayed north of the pocket thinking i would stay away from the crowds. Didnt get to stay away from crowds. Missed the opportunity to meet you guys in person. I met Charlie.G late this afternoon and it was a pleasure chatting. Was in the park soaking my lines with bait and artificial since nine pm friday (20 hrs) without a fish interested in anything i had to offer . Sure beat working.

At least you guys got out and it sounds like you had a good time together, despite the fish losing their invite.

Looks like a nice day at the park!!!!! Fishing was'nt any better in Brigintine today either!

Even tho no fish was still a fun day on the beach and got to try out my waders. have to get ya out on the boat sometime next year for flounder or something so you can catch something lol jk but would be a fun day sometime next summer on the boat flounder fishing or something.

I was out there yesterday. Didn't make as far south as LBI or IBSP. Found birds and fish breaking off Lavalette about 2-3 miles out and stopped in a spot where the fleet wasn't. Nothing but big gator blues, sea robins, fluke seabass and skates out there. My arms were tired from catching those blues. My last one had to go more than 20 lbs on a light jigging rod. It took me 20 minutes to land. Stripers should be right behind. Water temps were consistently 59.5 degrees, we need about 4-5 more degrees fot the stripers to show up in numbers.

it's what you guy get for fishing in Jersey...lol...JUST KIDDING! the bite got slow here on Long stretch of land too. some schoolies but hoping the south winds bring bait close enough to bring back the bite. still looked like a great day out of the house.
