Fish Hawk Report 4/3

Waited all week to fish this past weekend. Great forecast and great reports of fish. Picked up clams at exactly 5am back to house grabbed the crew and on the water at 7ish.Weather was down right nasty. Thick fog,cold,and windy. Setup just north of the fleet at #1 bouy and began to fish. Fished in 10ft of water and somewhat choppy seas. The boat never sat straight all day. Stayed for a few hours with no bites, and ran a little north. Marked some fish but no takers. As the weather deteriorated we made a move back towards home. We tried to setup out on the edge but was met with some solid 3-4's and heavy heavy fog. Aftering trying to setup,have one crew member get put on his @ss from a wave,and the other getting green it was time to head home.
Soon as we hit half mile from shore we were met with clear skies, and sun. Sat in the creek for a few hours and got one catfish. Looking forward to next weekend hopfully with better weather.

Thanks, lets hope this forecast changes for the better. As of right now it looks like the afternoon will be fishable, with the outgoing tide. Would rather have the incoming.Im done with clams, they suck. Its time to start chunking You headed out this weekend?

Yeah, I'm not a big clam fan, I'm ready to chunk some bunker. If I go it will most likely be Sunday
