Fish Hawk Report 11/13 - 11/14

Had "flounder" fishing weather forcasted for the weekend with slight and light out of the Ne. I like it alittle sloppy but not to much. Had 24 bunker reserved and made our way out around 7ish. The bay was packed, atleast the upper bay was. There most of been 50 boats all in a tight group fishing around 6 and close to shore. One buddy called me up just before we got out and said hes got one nice fish over 45" in the box. Made our way out and setup inside of where the fleet was. Nothing, a few taps maybe a small run but that was it. The amount of boat traffic and noise pushed the fish out towards the channel. After about 5 hours of sitting and drowning bait, decided to make a move.
Moved out towards the western edge of the fleet setup in 18 ft of water and incoming tide. First runoff the fish goes towards the anchor Get snagged up, and of course this was on my line. Had riss hold the rod and reel in as i pulled up the anchor. Fish gets off the hook. Oh well Reset with the anchor and rebait recast. About 20 mins goes by and riss gets hooked up with a 42" heavy bass. In the next 10 mins her lines goes off again and she gets hooked up with a 46" bass :queen: (pictures are posted in lady angler forum) Shes done. Next its my turn, well on her rod. I get hooked up with a 39" bass. Those fish seem to like the pink custom rod and shimmano reel Back to the dock around 3ish with 3 fish up to 46".

Great job Tom and Riss Looks like things are finally starting to heat up. Thanks for the report. We got on em Sunday with 3 up to 45" in the upper. I ain't selling the boat

Nice job!! Saw the fish come up one at a time on facebook. Wasn't on Rusty Joes page so I didn't know the others were coming. It was pretty funny. glad you got on em.
