NOMOCO out front

Yakked it from Long Branch to Asbury. TONS of bunker with nothing on them (yet, I hope). Snagged an free lined, Snag and dropped, chunked, bucktailed, trolled and everything else.

No fish anywhere. Didn't mark any on the FF either.

That appears to be what happened to many today,, bunker w/o what we want lurking down below.
What I would consider doing when this occurs again is have plan "B" ready.
For me that would be maybe continue live linning or chunking,, but entertaining myself w/ targeting fluke w/ another prepared set-up.
I also yak ( I have a hobie outback,fishfinder etc)and haven't gone out front yet this season,, will shortly.
My best days are early morning Tuesdays and have all day Thursdays free,, if you'd like to buddy up let me know.

Thanks Rick. I did pick up a seabass when I dropped to the bottom.

I fish mostly the weekends at night or real early mornings. Although I'll fish the Raritan for fluke during the day. Mid-week is tough and a rarity in my world.

I think I saw you yakking yesterday. Were you out around 7-9? were you with another yak, foot pedaling ?

Maybe. I was with three others but we split up for awhile.

Rick - heading out tomorrow morning from Sea Bright public beach at first light for a few hours.

wish i saw this earlier,, I went out //down just b4 seaside,,mega bunker everywhere,,just very few stripes underneath,, they are getting their meals early and sitting back.Then tried a beach a little north,nada.
I go onto beach(seaside) and see maybe a 25-30lber on the beach,, walk up to the nice young lady to ask if she caught it,, no ,she answered,, she just bought a yak for her boyfriend ,,his first time out and just caught this impressive bass,, damn I wish I just walked outa Wal-Mart!
Bunker were everywhere,, as in just too many!

Yakked the Shrewsbury Rocks in the morning. Not much bait. Got into monster blues at the green can.
