fished last 2 hours of outgoing til 2 hours after sun up...as the sun came up, sandeels got blasted to the surface! bass were breaking about 200 yds off shore, for about half a mile. 
...some came in close enough to feed, dad managed 2 (one was reaaaall nice prob about 15 pounds that he lost when he went to lip him) and believe it or not a throwback winter flounder, all on AVA's..once the sun was up the bite was dead!
all in all a nice morning, glad to put pops into fish since he doesnt get out much anymore--not to mention he caught em all on his $35 walmart set-up
saw some BIG splashes out there, wished i had a kayak
fall fishing is underway ladies and gentlemen!
