May conditions for Southwest Florida
With the water temp up to 84 now and Snook season is officially closed, now Snook should be hitting anything moving in the early dawn. Top water would be the perfect bait as you might piss a Tarpon off enough to crush you plug too. I will be putting in the canoe and start fishing for Redfish and spotted Seatrout as soon as it starts raining. Without rain fishing during the day is a waste of time. The water is so clear the shadow of you bait spooks the fish. I just sent down some plugs to Marathon for testing, hopefully the wind will die down so they can be used on some Pelagics.
