IBSP and north report for 11/16-11/18

Headed down for a few days of fishing the surf with a friend of mine. The early morning bite was insane all three days. Each of us beached around 15 bass (+/- a few) at first light for about an hour every day, and dropped numerous fish too. After the bite ended, you could still pick at bass if you made long casts with a 2oz Ava. The night bite was on also, with the lower part of the tide being the best if you got out on a bar or point. Fish were in much closer and needlefish and 1/2 oz jigs with a Sluggo were the ticket.
All in all an awesome three days with a good friend, beer and burgers every night when we were done fishing. Came home with beat up thumbs, sore shoulders and a lot of great memories.....
