IBSP 10/25/09 Report

Well this is the first trip to the park since we had the Noreaster...!!!!

There is not muce beach left i would say we lost 10 foot of sand to the ocean...

Here are a few pixs from todays trip, we left early becauce there was no place to park at high tide....

And there was few fish to be had .....Charlie G had one short bass before daybreak...

Ed i was there too. i drove right past you more than once looking for a spot. went south at high tide. couldnt loose my bait for nothing. not a touch all day. saw nothing either. water was definately cleaner south. now i know what you drive i'll look for you next time. i was amazed how much sand is gone. hope it comes back this fall.

oh well Salts atleast ya got out right? I went out lst night and could see the fish piled up and they would'nt feed on anything cause we had no water movement! now thats just fustrating!!

Nice photos !!! Looks like fun driving along the beach, I'll have to try it sometime, never tried it.

well to say the beaches were messed up was an understatement. we went out friday night pulled in @ A7. not able to be picky on where to fish. had to fish wherever the high tide wouldn't get us. fished a18 area for about 5hrs and not even a crab stealing bait. drove off got some sleep and fished the south end sat (more beach). not much going on during the incoming tide, but as soon as the tide changed it was on. i kept a 32" and my wife a 29 1/2. released 26" & 27". lost 2 in the wash and had one snap my line.(just switched reels and had the baitrunner set and not the other drag ) whatever that one was, it was big. oh well. all in all a good day of fishing. good luck to any going out this weekend...
