Popper Face???? Empty Popper Face????

What do you guys use to cup out a popper face. I have tried a forstner bit and I like the way it makes the rounded part but the bottom is ripped up and doesn't look good. I can't seem to find a rasp that is big enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a few that are on hold because of it. thanks guys cool

no problem just use caution if you get one cause if you slip and it hits your hand it dont know the difference and WILL KEEP ON RIPPING TRUST ME I KNOW LOL..

i use a 2" drum sander. just enough to make it concave as you can see on these 2 poppers.

Is there a standard degree of angle that is used on popper faces or is it just up to the whim of the builder to determine it ? ? ?
