Harbour freight has there cast iron lathe ..on sale normal price 299 on sale for 199 with a 20 % off coupon is a great price and lathe ....
If you put a turncrafter next to it they look the fricking same ...thats what i up graded to and love it...!!!..Charlie G just picked one also..
To answer your question about the grizzly i know nothing about them other then they have a warehouse in willamsport Pa.....

Joe, I have a Jett and The Cast iron Harbor Freight as a back-up. The H.F. is worth every penny!!!!

Generally speaking, Grizzly makes some real solid tools.
