Fishing

i know its not really my place to get involved, but i would hate to see this site turn into what some of the others have become. ...so with that said, let's talk about fishing.


weather is pretty much everything i could ask for come late september! anybody have any luck with the striped ones? ( RI to NJ??) i might head out this afternoon, only because this weather feels like it should be time for the run!

let's all get amped for the great fishing that is just aorund the corner, the amazing plugs the guys on this site make available for our viewing/fishing pleasure, and the fact that we have shared some great experiences with great people because of this place!!

Yes yes lol the last few days had the smell of fish in the air.
I love to fish the fall run much more so then the spring.
Don't worry about the bad apple on the site he will go away
He seems to think he knows it all.

looking forward to the fall run....spring was awsome....hope they come early have to go for surgery middle
of october so my fall run will be cut short....but after the spring I had deff no complaints....

Ive been reading a book called "The Most Important Fish in the Sea" by H. Bruce Franklin ... a MUST READ I recommend to anyone! :read:
I have learned so much about menhaden (bunker) and striped bass, amongst other species and history. I think its important to understand the fish in order to catch it. I look forward to the fall run, we have had so many bunker pods around (before that fish kill above Cape May), they should spruce back up again soon-they reproduce very quickly. Probably wont see true bass fishing til mid/late Oct.-Nov. but we have found and heard of a few keepers in the back creeks caught on blood worms in deep water (40 ft or so). Hope to catch my cow this year!! I want to catch one at least 40lbs+!!

Looking forward to some fall fishing. Gonna do some fishing down around Brigintine for some kingies before the bass run for a warm up and some good eats!!
