What's Your Plugging Set-up?

GSB132-1m with a vs300 and 40 lb pp, GSB120-1m and a vs250 with 30 lb pp, are my go to set ups. The other 9 vs reels and rods are just for back up. Wayyyyyyyyyy to many vs's.

I would like to add I just got a ZX27 gunna get a custom SSU1321MH for it. AB if you dont mind me asking why such a big reel on the 1321M?

Have 2 set-ups for the surf. A 10' tsunami airwave w/ a shimano saragosa 8000-- it's great for throwing up to 2oz bucktails. The other is a 11' daiwa saltiga surf w/ a daiwa saltiga blast 4500-- I use that when i got a stiff wind, I can throw 4oz tins a country mile. For the north shore of long island I use a 8' custom graphite rod w/ a shimano stradic 5000 and love the set-up

Lami mb1083m with a Slammer 460 for the north shore.

Lami 1201L with a ZB25 for Montauk and the south shore...

Spring: Lamiglass 120-1L w/ ZX25 and 40# Tracer line
Fall/Jetty Allstar 1087 9' concept w/ZX22 30#Powerpro
8`Allstar light one piece w/ a VS 100 and 12 # mono forb the littlen guys

9' airwave vsb150

will likely be picking up a new set up this year as well

GSB1081L and a VS150 all around,Rogue 843S VS150 Nightime for throwing Mambos,Redfins. Batson SW1087 VS150 for when the Gator Blues come in.

Current: vs 200 with 9' honey lami

Soon to be 150 with 10' mojo 1-4oz

I have a 10' St. Croix Premier surf paired with a ZX-25

A 9' Tica Dolphin surf that I can use the ZX with but also have a Quantum Boca 40 I use also.

There is also the 7'6" Honey Lami with a 710 greenie with the bail less kit.

Here's a couple of my set-ups for bombing out casts with 2-3oz surface plugs and metals to the roosters,jacks and cuberas in Mexico.

Rainshadow 1386 custom with lowriders,x-flock butt wrap and Fuji moveable reel seat.I pair this with a Daiwa Saltiga Surf 4500 and routinely hit 100+ yards.This whole set-up weighs in the neighborhood of 34 ounces

Rainshadow 1387.Same set-up with guides and wrap.Permanent reel seat at 26".This rod has alot more balls than the 1386,and will cast up to 4oz a loooooooooooooong way.I pair this with a Shimano Sustain 8000FE, and the roosterfish don't stand a chance! LOL......
both RS's are 11'6"

I recently bought a 12'3" Breakaway LDFS 3-5 oz. that they don't make anymore.Got it for small $$ and it was never used! I'll have the factory guides stripped off and replaced with concept guides.I'll also strip off the bulky cork butt wrap and replace with X-Flock wrap.This should lighten it up a bit and add to the already awesome casting abilities of this model.
Wraps will be the same BA classic colors and the logo etc. will stay.
