Heard the beach was gone!!!

I just heard from a close friend the beach was totally destroyed by the storm.He said it was the worst he's ever seen it and he's been goin to the beach since he was 3 years old.Apparentlly in Bayhead the water was up almost over the dunes,and it took stairs and bordwalk landings away!!!Wow what am I gonna do????I gotta hit the beach or whats left of it just to see the damage.Hopefully somebody's got some pic's.

Ya the beach is gone. Now you dont have to walk to the water just fish from the top of the dunes

Ya the beach is gone. Now you dont have to walk to the water just fish from the top of the dunes

earliest that i would make it would be tomorrow or sunday

i would have taken pictures today but all i had was my SLR and there was no way in hell i was taking it out in that slop. i saw a wave break about 50 yards past the outer bar that had to be 12-15 feet. just insane stuff. there was long lines of snow fence washing back and forth in the froth and more wood than a home depot.

Wow.....that absolutely blows....I've fished every place from the pics shown and never saw anything like it. It really hits home because I've fished this Island since 69 and only this Island and I know I'm not the only one...will be there 8am Sun to check it out.

Just got off the phone w/Grumpy's BnT IN Sea Side Park, said it's real bad down there , the park is closed. I might still take a ride down tomorrow to check it out and take some pic's.
