my nephew told me to go on one of those shows because they catch fish all the time .. i said have we ever caught fish that fast .. he said once in awhile .... i said awhil is how long it takes them to catch that many fish over ....DAYS ....

I met linda greenlaw the other day and the crew of the frances anne while I was unloading from my uncle's netter. Really cool guys. Told em to keep up the good work and be safe out there. Im tired of people bitching about the show and saying how destructive longlining is on other forums. Half the people that talk a big hate game on those shows and the work they do have no Effin clue what they speak of.

Personally i like the show, its better than half the crap on tv anyway. i give those fishermen (and linda) big credit, but what i dont get is why they hired a few certain people who are "not in shape"- no wonder they quit so soon, they cant keep up and they give up-poor attitude, its not gonna get you anywhere but a ticket off.
If i could go out there on one of the vessels, i would def. do it, i love fishing!!! (even if its a 2 month trip!!!)
