Since the reports from surf havn't be so good, I decided to take my friend up on his ivite to his new camp on Raquette Lake. Spent last monday & tuesday fishing there until the skies opened up on wedsday morning, and the radar did'nt look good so I called it quits and headed home. Found fish everyday in 85ft. of water holding at 60-65ft. and they did not hesitate. Ended the trip with two 21"+ lakers and about 15 released. Never found the smalies, but this was my first trip to lake & my friend just started fishing. Going back in August after he gets some info from a local who knows the lake!
