took one of my best friends (who is not really a fisherman) out today because it was the first time we both actually had the same day off...managed to get him into his first striper ever. it was only a schoolie--about 25 inches--but his reaction was priceless! "this is the biggest fish ive ever caught in my life!" he couldnt stop talking about itfor the rest of the day and he would lunge at the rod every time a wave knocked the bait around a little bit haha...didnt get anything else for the rest of the day, but just helping him hook into his first bass was as good as catchin my personal best..all he can talk about is "so when can we get down again?"
