For me its been poppers out back in Northern Monmouth. Although I hear they are getting them on pretty much everything...clams, bunker, metal, plugs, shads, rubber, kitchen sink.

at townsons inlet today..threw metals..shads..mag darter and fin-s...nothing to show.

Had them in L.B.I. over the weekend. Very lathargic, just following plugs and then turning away. Managed to get one to strike on a 4" X-rap. Fish followed it up to about 5' from me before taking it. Blue was 31" and the others that followed and turned were all around the same size.

yeaa, they werent really hitting me either, i did manage 3 of em tho..on herring chunks..no stripers tho..all blues were over 12 inch.

Im pretty sure i know you too I think we talked for a while on friday night either that or there was another guy with a 31 inch blue tail hanging out of his back pack

:affraid: you guys got me. Hey Rob, finally nice to actually talk to you out there. Usually we pass each other and just give the nod or a quick report and move on. I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys soon. AK, the next time I can get out is Friday night, my daughter has softball games 3 days this week and I promised that I would paint her room so I am pretty locked into things. Keep in touch guys.
