Fishing By the MOON SIGN
I was Invited to stop by and say Howdy....
So i thought i'd share this for free..... my fishing calendar based on
"when" the Moon is in a water sign which i found over many years
of testing is not only good for growing tomatoes but the fish are biting as well.
i started using this system in the early 70's and had proven it to be effective by the 90's.

See ya there.. My favorite show..Love the people and how it is run! Now about my tomatoes. thay always suck. I keep em staked, weed em, but never get good tomatoes with the beefsteak.. Probably to busy fishng to put the time in??
Re: Fishing By the MOON SIGN
I have heard of this before, re the tomatoes.. do you plant them on such a day, or what?
An interesting idea with the fishing.
I remember, in the back of the old ABU catalogues, back in the '70's, they had a calander for the best days to go fishing. I didn't go by it though, maybe my worst fishing mistake ever? Ha! I wonder if it was based on the same system? They titled it 'Taking Days' but also added that you should take account of other factors; weather, tides, barometric pressure, etc.
Trouble is, if I start taking days off work, based on the location of the moon..
Dug out a copy, this is from the 1978 catalogue..
