Out and about with my buddy Rich last night. Covered a bunch of our favorite back bay spots. Tide was screaming out and the wind was hard out of the SW. Wasn't the greatest combo. Our first 4 stops were fishless. Then we hit a favorite bait spot to get a handful of Bunker to use later, in hopes of a Flounder or Weakie. While there something larger than the usual bait plips blew up, then did it again. Rich grabbed his rod and first cast nails a nice Weakie. Couldn't buy another touch though. Next 3 stops resulted in a bunch of tiny tail tugging Blues. Our final stop was covered up in Blues too. I tried using the Bunker along the bottom, but had no takers. Switched up to a yellow bucktail and landed a nicer sized Blue. Thought about another spot for the turn of the tide, but decided against it and called it a night. Not a Striper to be found all night, and everyone we ran into said the same. Fun as always.

Tight Lines!

First pix is Rich with his Weakie
Any ID's on the little bait fish? Thought tiny Spot, but not sure.

Ahab, as i posted, I thought it was a tiny Spot, but wasn't certain. It was similar, but seemed a bit different. It was only about 1.5". No strips or spot , just speckles. Couldn't get a good picture of it. It was bright silver/yellowish in color.
