Jetty fishing...again
Hit the jetty today since the wind was down a bit and I could finally fish the tide I was waiting for. I was one of twenty or so folks out there tossing topwaters and other plugs in hopes of a Striper finding it in the mud colored water. I started with a bucktail and then switched to a Sebile Magic Swimmer, figured I'd try something different as everyone else was tossing Bombers and not catching. Threw for about an hour and a half, basically through the top of the incoming and turn. never got a touch. Seems nobody got a touch all day, not even the bait soakers on the beach. Left and stopped by a few of my favorite sandy haunts to see if anything was going on. Talked to a bunch of guys and none of them were catching anything but Doggies. Gonna try another angle tomorrow...
