Florida fall fishing report
hey guys, have not been on in a while due to my computer not working well..... but I figure I would give ya report on the fall large mouth bass fishing here...... saltwater/offshore the wind has kept me land locked and unable to get out.... so to the sweet water I go..... been throwing some new baits, one that I swear by and should be in any fresh water fishermans tackle box is the live target baits! if you have not used these baits or never heared of them goto LIVETRAGET.COM and check them out, they even have a new saltwater lures they have come out w/..... these are the most realistic looking baits you can buy.
the live target golden shiner is one of my go to baits, lipless rattle trap..... 3inch 1/2 oz
others, baits that have been working well are the gary yamamotto custom soft plastics the seinko 3inch, 4inch, and 5 inch, in black or black w/ purple flake....... rigged wacky style or texas rigged even on a football jig head....
yum soft plastics been working well, the dinger in the bream color, and the whodini shad in all colors these baits I have been riggin up on the swimbait hooks.
and of course my all fav the culprit worm 7.5in in grape shad, tequilla shad, and red shad...... rigged up on a weighted swimbait hook or rigged texas style.
the owner swimbait hooks I use are the weighted spring lock in 4/0-5/0.... great hooks very sharp and hold up well..... also been using the VMC worm hooks in 4/0.
hope that this report helps out my fellow sweet water guys, here is some picks of fish I have been catching, along w/ some crappie.....
my biggest large mouth this fall has been 23in in length and 17in gerth..... going close to 10-11lbs.... got some nice slab crappie up to 18inches.
good luck and tight lines.
