Went out fishing with Travis, his family and my Dad yesterday. Was a beautiful day! Just before we got all set up on the boat , Trav gave me my early birthday gift which was a Pink Shakespeare Two-Piece Medium Action Ladyfish Bigwater Combo 7ft rod/reel combo. I absolutely love it! I was able to test it out cause it had mono line on the reel already , so all Ttrav had to do was cut the clear wrapping off and set me up with a rig and bait. We did allil bit of everything, seabass, flounder, blowfish and tog. My dad got one flounder which was prob 10 inch. I got 2 seabass on the new rod. Was able to break it in..lol. No keepers. Trav got a lil seabass and his bro got a 16 inch flounder and 2 blowfish. My rod has a light action tip so u could feel every bite and/or bottom of the bay. Was a great day out with my dad and with my boyfriend Travis and his family! Can't wait for next time! fishing
