Oldsalts Wood-----Holymackeral Paint

Had an idea when i saw the paint that Mac does on the R/C Bodies....!!!!

Get this guy some plug bodies and let him at it.....!!!! Picture doesn't do the paint any justice but i had to post them up anyways....

thanks guys.. my first time painting something that wasn't an rc body.... a big learning curve....... it helped having oldsalt's beautiful wood to work with...

Nice looking plugs. Great job on the paint and super sweet pencil shape..( might have to borrow that shape one day ) lol

that is some amazing work guys great idea doint a joint effort. at the risk of ridicule ed your wood (work) is great as always. like roc said i'll go with that but it doesnt sound proper. the paint is off the charts. on a side note i have been cruising some of the other sites and this site is hands down the best for plug building and teaser and fly tieing, the information is shared freely and the guys are not shy about helping each other and offering encouragement. smitty you have done a great thing here. this is the first site i can honestly say i feel comfortable posting and responding to others on. words cannot express my gratitude to you all for the help and encouragement i have personally recieved here. if not for SBO i probobly not have attempted to build a rod and i am glad i did. so in closing thankyou and keep up the GREAT work. sorry im feeling a little fuzzy today.

no problem guys, ed thanks for the offer i just might take you up on that. i do enjoy stealing your shapes and colors. as i have NO creative side. i can duplicate stuff but cannot come up with ideas on my own. and i am about to venture out and try a flame popper as my last one is in bluefishes bag. once again a great guy with some exceptional skills and willing to do a swap. smitty i would like to do a give away after i finish these poppers or maybe a sale for the site. its about time i gave something back. i will let you know when they are done. i was hoping we could get others involved also and get the funds up for the season. it might take a little while but i will contact you. and this site is definately worth keeping around if it went away i would have nowhere to go.
