Ran North out of MI, trolled for awhile around Long Branch. Watched about 50 boats running past us to the North. Decided to follow the crowd and found the fleet northeast of the SRocks. Bass were fast and furious for about an hour most boats were hooking up. Bass were feeding on rainfish so the boats were spooking the rainfish and the bass kept moving following the rainfish. It was a madhouse. Must have been 150 boats all moving in the same direction everytime the birds and rainfish moved. Eventually the traffic pushed the rainfish down or caused them to scatter and the bass slowly disappeared. Most fish I saw were schoolies in the 24- 30 inch range. I caught two on Crocs one was 25 and the other 29. It was nice to get the skunk off the boat on the first trip. Beachboy must have hooked up 5-6 times but lost them all because he wasnt setting the ava hook good enough.

sounds like a decent time out... but dealing with all those boats and them pushing the fish away doesn't sound like much fun... glad you guys got some fish too bad for beachboy... you'll get them next time...
