Trout I caught last year in Spring lake 2009 a week after our Kids trout Tournament.

8 Lbs. 13 Oz. Brown trout. Not my biggest but it's close. I had it mounted by Carl Osterlund in Tinton Falls NJ.

I've walked around that lake many times over the years and never thought they had anything that big in there......NICE FISH!!!!

Robert. My club ( Shark River Surf Anglers) does an annual Trout tournament for kids every opening day of trout season. We stock trout up to 13 Lbs. and 31" long. We stock Rainbows,browns,brook,tigers, and golden trout in the lake. We do the stocking the week before the tournament and also the day of they throw in another 200-300 fish.
