Storm Damage

Thought that I would put my kayak up under my awning on my deck this year. I figured that I didn't have to cover it because the awning would keep it and then on any nice days I could do some work on it------NOT
After last nights snow my awning collapsed under the load (pic 1) After I went out and cut away the plastic and moved the poles off the kayak I still couldn't tell if the kayak was damaged or not.
