Delaware Valley Surf Anglers..New season 2010 calender!

Well another Tournament season comes to a close. Did'nt do to well on sat. 11th place I beleive. Thanks to all who fished this season, I had fun... hope everyone else did also .
Looking forward to the DVSA Fishing Fle market Jan. 23 and our banquette in Feb.
We still hold meetings durring the winter mth's. so if anyone's interested in checking us out let me know.

Well the tournament season may be over but we still have some friendly fishing to do .
This sat is our annual fish off with the Fishing Fuzz a team made up of retired law enforcement, who are some really fun guys to fish with.We do this each year in Sea Isle City,then go back to one of their members house's and eat like pigs. We have a plaque that gets passed back n fourth to the team who catches the most fish for the day. DVSA currently has the plaque and we plan on keeping it for another year

Well The Fishing Fuzz Took the Plaque back, but not by much!! We had a nice day of fishing, not a banner day of catching. Blues and skates were the order of the day with 1 bass@ 28 1/2". Best part was all the great food and laughs we had afterwards.

Me,Steve and CJ DID OUR PART TO LET EM WIN, We did'nt even catch a skate .
The fish might not been feeding but we sure were!!!!

Sorry I forgot to post prior(BRAIN FART) to the meeting .Although the tourn. season is over, there are still things going on at DVSA. During our up coming winter meetings we will be be having a rep. from Penn Reels come to do a demo on breaking down reels for cleaning,and general info. Also a rep. from RFA will be at a meeting to let us know what's going on,and so we can voice an oppinion!
I will post dates for these and other events we'll be doing.
All are always welcome to our meetings!

The "09" season has come to an end. I finally took largest fish honors for our club. Winning fish was a striper...49.5"--40lb.,also a personal best.

Other catagory winners :
Largest King fish=Jane Jefferys,17"
" Striped Bass=Jeff Bajek 49.5"
" Red Drum=John Overholtzer,26"
" Blue fish=,Jeff Bajek=34"
Most fish points for a jr. member=Dan Kelly
