Flukin from the sand!!!!

YO YO YO I haven't been down in a while,but flukin from the sand sounds like a blast!!!I want to hit it soon and try it out!!!Any buddy got anything they like to throw on the beach???Lets hear your set-ups!!!

probably the same thing we used last year this time jim! bucktails tipped with gulp or strip bait. teasers. etc. etc. etc. my dad used to use live killies on a three way rig and do really well. to each their own.

Caught my keepers using live minnows on a fishfinder rig drifted slowly through the surf. Caught a couple on bucktails, but no keepers with it. Good luck Jim

Although I was not targeting them....I caught 2 fluke Saturday night in the wash on a teaser.

Jim I use two rigs. One is a swivel tied to my braid running line, then a 1/2 to 1oz bucktail or jig head with a gulp swimming mullet ( white 3in type ) tied on a 18in leader. I also tie a dropper with a white or other colored teaser on the rig at the swivel.
The second is a three way swivel tied to my braid running line with a 1oz round or flat sinker that can be dragged slowly across the bottom. to the third eye of the swivel I tie a 18in mono leader with a Kalie hook with a minnow on it.
They both work for me.
