8/1 sharkin trip!!

Decided to do some sharken last night and planned on stayen allnight but we hit the beach mid afternoon to catch some bait (which was hard to come by) managed a few blues.

we caught several small sand bars before dark, my son hunter landing one around 4ft.Then we made a move to a new spot for bigger teeth I ended up with several nice shark in the 5-6ft range the biggest being a 65" dusky. Some friends thats were with us also managed some nice fish, I try to get some pics.

All I can say is it works when you need a pullage fix!!

Yes its all catch & release, unless for some reason I were to get a Mako from the beach :affraid: but I would never get so lucky..

Some nice looking sharks there, when we catch em down here they never touch the sand, flip em over belly up while in the water, it calms them and makes for an easier release. I have seen bull sharks bounce chest high when beached, effen scary stuff all that muscle and teeth thrashing around on the beach.

A lot stronger than any bass you"ll catch Its a great way to pass the summer, while waiting for the return of the stripped ones RocksandReds, great job!

Your welcome anytime, I'm in Georgetown,DE about 20 min from the beach( Lewis area) plenty of good sharkin left this summer!! Shoot me a PM if you want to make the trip.
