I’m traveling from Middlebury Ct. Most times I launch at Barn Island but if the weather is foggy or snotty seas I would rather run to a further ramp with less water travel time.

Please post any ramps I could access in RI being from CT. Pay ramps are fine.
I pretty much fish from the CT line to Point Judith.

Thank you

Jay

hmmm Westerly has one downtown and there is a public launch at Westerly marina... kinda chitty though.. then you have quonny :affraid: be very afraid of that one very dangerous exit at end, Then not sure bout charlestown breach... then oh wait public launch right in point jude... Launch is near the great island bridge and takes ya right out to the harbor.. hope this helps... IN NO WAY AM I SAYING GO LAUNCH AT QUONNY BREACH IT IS VERY DANGEROUS PLACE TO LAUNCH FROM, IF YOU DECIDE TO LAUNCH THERE FIND A REPUTABLE PERSON TO TALK YOU THROUGH OR SHOW YOU THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys.

The river is right next to Barn Island ramp I use in Stonington CT. I can run wide open from the ramp out.

I have heard it can be tricky at some ramps in RI Islander. Not a problem for me. I'll check that place out.
