1st yak 1st bass" alt="" />
My first time in the ocean in my yak,it wasn't easy,defiantly a lot of work fighting the out going.A dude in a boat was watching me and said "that looks like a lot of work".I told him it was worth it,i got to loose my spare tire.
A little farther up my reel started to sing,at first i thought i snagged the bottom,i pick it up and sure enough,fish on!
It was a little difficult to get him in and a little scary cause i didnt want to get sucked out into the ocean.
i finally landed it and the same guy from the boat said"if I didnt see it,I would of never believed it"he didnt realize i was trolling.
Not the biggest or best bass ive caught(29") but defiantly the funnest.All thanks to that awesome eel jig(Bill Hurley rat tail ?) that i bought at Dave's Pioneer sport center.I'm defiantly going back and getting more.Its nice to have a local shop that stocks striper supplies and knows about striper fishing,he's a great guy.
Can't wait to do it again,it was a blast,it's like surf casting on speed.

I'll probably need some one to find me cause the one in your hands would probably tow me out to Nantucket or the Azores. :help: lol!
