Meeting up...

I am sure a lot of us belong to various clubs both fishing etc... as with all clubs there is a certain amount of politics and bull pippy that goes with them. I was wondering if any of you guys and gals would like to set up a situation where we can meet up say one time in Sandy Hook, one time in IBSP (if you do not have 4x4 I am sure enough of us can arrange to take ya on the beach) and just fish. No dues, no meetings and no crap, kind of an SBO independent organization just for fishing and sharing etc... I know a lot of ya know each other etc, and some of the new guys, myself included, would enjoy putting the names on the faces (might be scary but what the hell) Just an idea I had when I should have been working LOL.... if it is a possibility, lets see how far it can go.... salt :idea:

I'm in!!! I have a permit for Brigantine if ya want to do that...My dad does too, so we have room for 6 more in both of the trucks...

nothing is better than a bunch of idiots who think about fishing way too much getting together. we could do a tour this month called "burn your spot" and everyone can take a ton of people to your little nook. i've got a bridge in mind (that's for you rick!)

Was that the same place we had an SBO gathering back in April?

OK B4 this gets outta hand I propose a general spot gets chosen and we meet their.I vote that Smitty brings the beer!!!!!! :shock:

How about a big spot like the Manasquan Inlett????Pleanty of free parking after I think 9:00pm guy's could fish from the wall out the jetty.We could even have set up's along the beach :affraid:

Sounds like there is some interest in it, now, what day?? Sunday would be a guess for me as a lot of you might work on Saturday. I think we could have a good time anywhere we go and not burn spots. Hell none of my spots would burn anyway so far this year.... so lets see what day and set a date and place and give it a go. Something like the first parking lot in Sandy Hook and we could all just meet in the parking lot and walk out and give it a shot for a time period etc.... hell yeah!!! whoops sorry for the profanity.... salt

we can do a few of them in different locations if one dont work for some...

I vote IBSP... Its in the middle for everyone.

I also like the idea, Sunday is a good day for me...as for where? IBSP has my vote,no walking involved for those w/ phyisical limitations, I can take 3 others on w/ me and if more,, I can be a 4x4 taxi,, I have no air fresheners hanging off my mirror,, just the aroma of old clams that adds to the ambience of my suv.
I think the (Pt Plsnt/Manasquan) inlet wall/beach would be too crowded w/ weekenders.
AKScuba,, yes, that bridge is a place of the past for me,, all hrs of the day/night there is a huge crowd there,, I've been thinking of running a hot dog stand there.
IBSP has many spots along w/ the allure of possible bunker making a pass.. who knows maybe someone can get a bigger one than Joe fishingproblem there, I can provide his red good luck hat.
