I guess We're all doing something different last week

I have gotten into doing more off center turning lately. I moved on to give a few pencils a shot.
Here's one I have to e-tex tomorrow. The funny thing is I don't like purple on plugs.

Oh and I'll blame Jeff for taking my lathe which I use to threw drill my plugs. So I had to hand drill this one with the cordless so the nose hole came out a little screwed up but the grommit will cover the large hole.






You can't even see the white belly, and faint pink lateral line cause of that dam purple.
I have 2 more coming off the spinner tomorrow so there's more of them to come.

Getting very creative with those off center turns Charlie . How much tail weight dose it get? If your not happy with the color......Um, I'll take it!!!!!!!!! At least Jeff L's Plugs will all have straight holes drilled through em!!!!

No wonder it gave me a hard time drilling by hand.
Also it doesn't count as the plug you give me off the new lathe.

Here's 2 just off the spinner, 1/4" off center at the tail and dead center at the ass end.
They are 7" long and weigh in at 2 3/4oz the nose measures 5/8in across.
