Tied up a few more for the surf

It was a slow friday night so I tied up a few for this year in the surf with the long rod.











For some reason this winter I've been building smaller plugs and bigger flies

Well it was either nap or get back to the vice this afternoon. So the dog napped and I tied.
I think she got the best of the deal.
So I tied up a few more. 8in long, and tied on a size 2/0 Varivas 2600 ST-V hook. I think these hooks will handle the biggest bass or boofish I encounter.

Sat back down at the vice this afternoon and tried tying up a bunker fly. I guess it's ok for the fist try, hopefully I get better at this pattern.
4 1/2in long and tied on a Mustad S71SZ, 2XH/1XL, size 2/0
