tagged fish caught at LBI pink tag

called the fish and game wildlife dept to day....here's the scoop they needed the town/location/surf/boat of how and where the fish was caught and what you used to catch the fish bait/lures...you get a letter of history where the fish was tagged and when it was tagged..... a plaque or letter with your name on it.......and a choice of an embroider fishing cap or a madalion with a stripped bass.

Nice Bruce! Was wondering what they were going to ask you . That was the first taged fish I have ever seen caught. Glad I got a pic of it.

Thats cool as hell .. The guy that mounted my deer head caught a striper in the merimack river N.H. the wish was tagged 12 days earlier in the Chesapeeke Bay .. Thats a long way in 12 days .. Cant wait to hear about yours

got the info on the tagged fish from LBI.........the fish was tagged in the spring of 2011.......in the atlantic off East Hampton......they didnt give the size of the fish when tagged...but the fish was wild...not from hatchery stock.....the tagging agency was NYDECCST.....thats the info on the certificate.......plus they sent me a medallion.....and a little history on the striped bass......ther range is on the alantic coast and tributaries from the saint lawrence sea way in canada to the saint johns river in Fla. and in the gulf of mexico[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
