kayak mount for GoPro

I made up a mount for my go pro in the kayak but when pictures were taken you always saw the bar of the mount in the pictures.
This time I used 1/2" pvc and just had to put a wrap of electrical tape on the end to make it fit tight in the mast mount on the outback. It can be swung back to take videos going forward without getting in the way of the mirage drive and then swung out to the front to take videos of the fish you catch with no mounting bar in the picture. It can even swing out to the sides. Total cost $3.30

Looks good. Curious - do you have any type of leash in case you get nailed by a nasty wake and/or dump?

I have a leash that I hook to the camera once in awhile but it doesn't need one when its on the mount. The part that goes into the mast hole goes in about 9" and is pretty snug I guess you could hook one onto the whole mount somewhere just in case though. where the camera mount to the mast it is bolted so that wont come off for sure unless the whole bolt comes out which isnt likely to happen.

What size sd card do you have .....mine only runs for like 8 seconds and shuts off....???.
