Trim bands
Hey guys, I just finished a reversing chevron dec wrap and have been playing around with a couple of different trim bands that I like. Take a look at the pics below and let me know which one you like better. Thanks!

Re: Trim bands
As Steve said not that they both don't look good, and a great wrap also
I like the trim band with the yellow and red, but to my eye the trim wraps look to wide.
They seem to draw the eye away from the main attraction which is the chevron. Maybe just half the width and not a double repeat on the trim bands.
Have you tried the yellow in between the red bands on a single pattern of the bands and not repeating it twice ?
I love the overall wrap tho it looks really tight and straight and the spacing is right on.
It will really look great after it's epoxied

Re: Trim bands
Charlie actually the red on the outside edges of the yellow looks good. I think what I should do is remove the gold metallic from the center of the yellow band and frame the yellow with red by removing the inner red bands and put them around the yellow. Would make it look a little less busy. I might also use Madeira to do that to make the bands smaller. What I have on there now is "D" size and so the thickness of the thread makes it look wide even though there is only 4 turns of the red on each band
Thanks for the honest input. I appreciate it

Re: Trim bands
Runner if you don't have any red or yellow Madeira let me know. I might have some here I can shoot up to you matter a fact I might have about 4 shades of both here.
I had it to do some wraps and ended up going green, LOL
I think the red & yellow look good together.
I just meant the whole end closing wraps looked big (1 1/2in wide total) but it must just be the close up pix I guess.
